I need a complete set of bolts and washers (spacers?) for the intake and exhaust manifolds on a late 60's 300 block. I misplaced all of them somewhere. Anyone know a source, or have an extra set? I can get the bolts from the hardware store, but the washers are kind of unique. If I buy bolts from the hardware store, is the hardness a factor?

 

Pic-a-part might have what your looking for in washers, if not the specific bolts. Plenty of blown engines in a J/Y. And, yes hardness and length are definite factors.

 

I found an old post where number dummy listed the bolt specs as 3/8" -16. Is that right? And is grade five correct? Will ordinary washers work or is there something unique about those fat originals?

 

I found a supplier on ebay who's got them.
