Fuel Filter part#
Bought a new fuel filter for my 03 6.8 superduty today and the dealer gave me part # FG-872, when I got home I checked my book and the part # in my book says FG 986-B do manufactures change numbers after a while. I called the dealer and he said that the number it calls for?

Thats the # it calls for in the book, but my dealer, and Oriley tell me different? I actually looked underneath and the one thats on now looks like the one I just got, the 986 # looks like a completely different filter.
