I have a 2002 excursion with the V-10. It’s had a minor miss at idle since we’ve had it. It runs fine otherwise. I have Forscan, but it hasn’t had any DTC’s for skips or anything. What can I check?

 

Plugs past their useful mileage or boots in poor condition, fuel pressure slightly below spec, potentially a timing chain issue. FORScan catches a lot of things the PCM monitors but occasionally we have to resort to old fashioned hands-on inspections.
