Oil Pan Clearance
2000 Ranger XLT 4x4 Automatic 4.0L (X) Motor. Oil pan leaking between block & pan. Really don't want to pull the motor. Can I get enough clearance with dropping the pan to remove all of the old material, clean both pan & block by hand and reseal with RTV Silicone and reinstall pan ? Even while cleaning, being able to shift the pan around some. Even loosing the motor mounts to lift the motor up some but not completely out. Is there enough room to do this?
