No nothing

Brought Bronco home turned it off. Next time going to start it there was no power to anything. Thought the battery was bad, got a new one, still nothing. Any Ideas?

Here's what happened. Checked every cable, new battery, wiring. The wiring is a nightmare. Ends cut off, wires spliced in, no grounds from body to engine, frame to engine and the ground from the alternator wasn't hooked up. Tried jumping the solenoid and all that happened was the usual clicking of the solenoid. Wasn't getting power anywhere. Replaced the solenoid and everything came on, lights, dash and the engine cranked and started, anyone ever heard of anything like this?

Hard to tell exactly what happened but seems like you should have had power after you fixed the grounds.

On a related note, starter relays (often called solenoids) are one part where I make sure I get OEM or NOS parts. Too much offshore junk out there at your local auto parts store.
