Steering column disassembly tips/advice?
My truck is a 3spd on the column. The shifter itself has a ton of play, and I mean a TON. I took it to the muffler shop and when the old guys tried to move it, they couldn't tell what gear it was in lol. Anyway, the play itself is coming from the shift collar on the steering column. the shift collar will move back in forth probably about 1/4 inch.
I know the basic gist of taking the steering column apart to get down to it, but does anyone have tips/advice or pictures of when you did it?
