Complete electrical Failure while driving
Yesterday while pulling off the expressway after stopping at a traffic light the old girl just went dark, like I was mid left turn and the dash lit up like Christmas and she was off. I put into park, shut it down waited a sec and it fired right up. Drove it the rest of the way home and about another 60 miles that day and didn’t repeat. Once this happened before backing out of the driveway. Instead of D I hit N shifting, realized it when I accelerated switched to D and it went dark. I don’t even know if I’d classify this as a stall, usually (in my experience) there’s a little stutter before a stall. My girl is an 01 limited w/ a recently rebuilt V10 (only about 15k miles on the rebuild) truck itself is just coming on 200K. Any ideas on this issue before I take it to the shop?
