13 quarts in my 6.7

Yes. 8qts is a good number for a BB gas motor. 7.3PSD took 15qts!

I see a lot of idle hours( like A LOT) so I go by than rather than miles, usually 200-225 hours, the OLM is always around 50% when I drop the oil.

I'm not a believer in the 10k OCI that the manufactures and the OLM suggest, maybe if I wasn't planning to keep the truck for 10,000 hours but I've seen some engines taken apart that ran 10k OCIs and they were full of sludge, compared to the 5k OCI guys motors are very clean. I'll stick with the short OCI myself, oil is cheap.

Even towing mostly in steep mountains the monitor has me well over 5k intervals.....I disregard and change every 5K.
