Newbie here with a question I couldn't find an exact answer to, in the forums. Essentially, I have a 1967 F250 4x2 without the engine. The NP-435 4-spd transmission is still in it, without the bell housing. The stock engine was a 352. I have a 1970 F100 4x4 donor truck with a 360 FE and an NP-435 4spd. In any case, my question is: will the bell housing from the 1970 transmission, and the 360 bolt right up to the transmission in the '67 F250? Will I need any additional parts? Thank you in advance!

Should be almost plug and play. Since your truck has the trans you are in luck. I would look at the clutch before stuffing it in some if it needs replacing, do it now!

Thank you for the quick response. I had fully planned to replace with a new clutch kit, as I figured, I might as well while I have everything apart. My next thing will be to figure out what size clutch kit to buy that will mate up with the size of flywheel the 360 has. Any tips on getting the right kit?

Most were drilled for both size clutches. Make sure to get the flywheel surfaced properly. You will also need to swap the oil pan from the 360 as it won't work in a 4x2 truck. Neither will the pickup tube.

So stupid questions: can I measure the size of the flywheel from side to side to determine which clutch kit I need? For oil pans, am I looking for an oil pan specific to a 360 4x2 engine, or just a 4x2 FE oil pan? Lastly, I’m assuming (we all know what that means) that the pickup tube is somehow related to how the fuel pump connects to the tank? Thank you for all of your help!
You will need a 4x2 FE oil pan with the drain plug at the rear. The oil pan pickup will also need to match the pan. The 4x4 oil pan and pickup are not compatible.

Bell Housing is the SAME with 3 or 4 speed M/T: 1965/66 F100/250 352 2WD // 1966 F100 352 4WD // 1967 F100/250 352 2WD/4WD & F350 / 1968/76 F100/250 360/390 2WD/4WD & F350
My 360 had 11 inch clutch on it and I just put a new one on. Just search 360fe front sump oil pan and they will pop up. The pick up tube goes through a hole in the driver side of block.
