SAE#3 bell housing, and transfer question

I am looking for a ford transmission that uses a standard SAE #3 bell housing. I do know that a c-6 from a 400 is not. I do know that the allison 545 uses a standard #3 housing. Are there any others out there?

My other question is what tranfer case was used in an 1983 f-250 with automatic. It is a part time case, so that means it is a np 205 or 208 or ???

Uh... Hey guys, now I'm looking for a trans that has, or could be used to mate to an sae #3 housing. I was thinking of an NV5600, gonna hopefully be taking out a loan for a 6.8L JD diesel.
