How do I replace the hood release cable
I was going to replace the hood release cable on my 99 f250 but after it goes through the firewall into the cab it goes behind stuff in the driver side foot well, I need to removed something but I'm not exactly sure what I need to remove to get access to it, and I was kinda skeptical because all the release cables are right there like, parking brake, parking brake release, hood release, so I didn't really want to take that apart, i could not find anuthing online related to replacing a hood release cable on this truck I have the new cable but I can't just pull the old one out and put the new one in, I can take pictures if needed when I get home

I figured it out, I loosed one of the bolts and it gave it just enough play to make it a tiny bit more accessible and I was able to pop the cable loose from the slot and pull it out, running the new one through was pretty difficult and took about 45 minutes but I managed
