Vacuum pump operation
2004 F350 SD 6.0, Once the vacuum build up to control the air flow selection door, is the vacuum supposed to remain as a vacuum, or will bleed out after X hours when the truck is parked ?
I replaced the vacuum reservoir tank and vacuum pump, and now have hot air coming out of the panel vents, how do I test the temperature blend door operation. what is the resistance value for the temperature control potentiometer between pin 1 & 3 the full resistance value and the variance between pin 1 & 2, and 2 & 3. Also is there a way to test the blend door actuator motor?,

The vacuum system will typically bleed down overnight as my pump always runs when I first start the truck in the morning but it should build vacuum and then shutoff. When I change positions on the HVAC **** the pump will usually come on for a short time to rebuild vacuum.
