I'm glad your budget bar is working well for you! What brand is it? We've lined up a cheaper Cree 30" light bar on one truck side by side with a Rigid 30" on another truck. There was no comparison when turning one on and then the other. The Rigid was head and shoulders better. The 480W 30" Rigid driving/spot combo I have on my truck is almost too bright...almost. Definitely takes getting used to.
Yep, if I can get the same (or better output) with a 6 or 8" single row light, I'd rather that than some huge 40" that doesn't fit in or look clean 🤷♂️
Drilled a hole on each side for the mount. Getting the bracket to lay flat was a little bit of a pain, but it will do it. I used the center rivet on the light bar to match with the center plastic support in the grill. Routed the cabling through a hole next to the radiator and driver side headlight. Drilled a few small holes in the plastic piece at the top of the engine bay to route zip ties through to hold the wiring to the rear of the engine bay on its way to the upfitter fusebox/
Many thanks!!! Awesome job and the price is right too!!!
I remembered! These were taken with a iPhone 6, so the quality ain’t all that…
thanks for that! i am guessing first pic is just the lightbar? and the second pic is lightbar and headlights on highbeam? that is pretty damn good for $70....

First pic is just headlights. Second pic is the lightbar
I had the N-Fab light bar (F174LB-TX) until it broke recently. Driving on some gravel wash board road and heard this loud bang and rattling. One mounting that connects to the tow hook bolts was completely sheared off. Zip tied it to the tow hook to get home. To their credit, N-Fab immediately initiated a replacement, but I’ve yet to receive it (2 weeks and counting)
was mounted with 2 VisionX 8.7” light cannons and 2 VisionX 6.7” light cannons. Fairly heavy setup. I don’t think the N-Fab design is up to heavy lights in an off-road (even mild) situation….
The red truck was my 2019. Note the led bar I mounted on the front bumper. I left it on there for the new owner.
I traded that truck in for the blue one, 2020.
havent installed a light bar yet, but I want too.
FYI - warranty replacement from N-Fab showed up yesterday. 3 weeks from when I emailed them I had the replacement, no fuss. Pretty happy with that level of customer service.....
