Rear door lock buzzing!?!?!

I have a 1998 Explorer Sport. My rear door (hatch) lock just started making an awful buzzing noise when the car is started or turned off, and when the locks are activated and deactivated. Any suggestions for fixing this on my own?? Thanks in advance!
