Power door lock buzzing

When I bought my truck back in January, the door locks did not work. I since found the fix for them and repaired both doors about 3 months ago. They have worked flawlessly ever since, until last week while I was vacationing down east. I got in one day and when I put it in gear I heard a buzzing. It seemed kind of loud and I first though it was an issue in the seat belt mechanism. Later that day the honey pointed out that it was the lock on my side. It would unlock fine with fob and switch but would buzz when locking with either method. It sounds like a stripped gear. I thought perhaps that was the case and I would deal with it when I got home. By the end of the day, it would buzz ever time...up or down. The next day the passenger door lock went as well.

Perhaps my luck has just run out and it's time to pony up for new actuators, but it just seems kind of odd that they would go like that.

Has anyone else experienced the buzzing ???

Buy the actuators . That little fix that everybody does isn't worth the trouble. Only about 40 bucks for each actuator and you don't have too
worry about blowing any fuses or god forbid burning the truck up. If you count your time it's not worth the savings.

Thanks Steeven...
I did the fix since many seem to have done it and it appeared to last. Perhaps most just don't post back when this develops??? I figured I have to pull them out anyway, so why not try the fix.
Worked great for awhile.........

I'll post back when I do replace the actuators let you know if it worked.
