2021 Priority Codes
Hello. New to this forum so excuse any faux pas with posting. Ordered a Lariat Ecoboost 3 weeks ago. Today dealer told me they have an allotment of 10 trucks to be built and mine was just given a top priority number. Just curious as exactly what that means. -Thanks

Average wait time on an ordered vehicle when there isn’t a chip shortage is 4-8 weeks.

In a nutshell, it looks like customer orders have a higher priority than trucks ordered for dealer inventory. But as Gabar said, production delays having to do with the chip shortage mean that you might be waiting longer than usual. Welcome to the forum, and I hope you post photos of the new truck when it arrives!
