Does anyone know what the different priority codes mean ? I have seen 19, 25 . Whats the difference and is there a way to request a higher priority level ?
My priority was a 19, and I received my F-350 in 57 days, located 1700 miles away from the Kentucky plant. And that included the 10-day holiday shutdown. Don’t get too crazy with the priority codes.
As I understand, those priority codes are how dealers prioritize their ordered vehicles. When Ford picks up orders from dealers on Thursdays, the system will pick up the dealer's higher priorities first. Having a priority code of 10 at one dealer doesn't mean your vehicle will be built before another dealer's priority 15. Like Blwnsmoke alluded to earlier, it's takes a Ford rep to prioritize at Ford proper. My dealer ordered at priority 15, Ford accepted and scheduled the truck on Jan 10th (due to the holiday shutdown), and one month and two days later, it's in South Texas and ready for a truck to deliver the final 15 or 20 miles.
If your dealer doesn't have a truck allocation, it won't matter what the priority is.
There are some exceptions to this. If a dealer doesnt use any 10s, then then 11 will be the best. If they dont use 11s, 12 will be the best etc.
the highest priority will always be built before a lower priority.
Some dealers may not use 10 at all because they save that for more important customers over others.
The dealer can also assign the same priority to multiple orders of the same vehicle. In that case, the vehicle that was ordered first will be built first.
I doubt you got 1 unless your previous order was totaled or something
Just been waiting 2 months for plants to open up. Used x plan, military, first responder, and a pco and requested it took an extra day to get the regional manager approval. Said it well be delivered in 4-6 weeks
