Last week I had a brake booster and dual master set up installed on the truck. Kept the drums all way around. Long story short looks like the shop did not adjust pin/rod between booster and master correctly so front brakes basically burned up after driving less then 70 miles. Shop fixed everything and properly set pin/rod but is now not happy with starting brake pedal height from floor. Said I t’s too low? Anyone else set one of these up and had any issues or have advice on how to get the proper starting pedal height?
Is the booster a factory unit or aftermarket? Are the brake shoes adjusted correctly? The pedal rod can be adjusted for height as well. At least on the aftermarket units. I think the Bendix units too.
Aftermarket booster. After looking at the set up I ordered a pedal rod extension. I’m hoping that does the trick!
If you are using the original pedal the bolt that holds the rod to the pedal is eccentric Just loosen the nut and turn the bolt to move the pedal. In your case it may not be enough to get it where you want it.

yeah using original pedal. The rod from booster is all the way extended and the pedal sits really low. MP Brakes has an extender just for this issue. Hopefully that will fix it.
