brake booster
just installed a rebuilt 351M in a 250 that had been sitting 4 to 5 yrs. since we dont have emission laws here I removed all the smog stuff. expecting lots of problems from the truck sitting too long I didnt blink when the brake pedal went to the floor and required a stiff pull with my foot to bring it back up. I bought a new booster along with a master cyl for good measure. Now the rod connecting the pedal to the booster is sucking air on the new booster. Could this be a vaccuum problem that I created? What is spec vaccuum pressure?

You'lle have to go to the book and check this one out. I know there is an adjustment for the rod that actuates the master cylinder. I just did it on a '95 at work. The ford book has the numbers. If I remember right there is some kind of adjustment on the back end of the booster too. I can't remember for sure so check out the book.
