Hey guys i recently replaced all 8 of my injectors with river city diesel 175/30s. truck ran amazing for first hours then it started missing on cylinder 3 tore it back down no visble problem but number 3 injector seem to not click when the key is cycled swapped plugs with the one next to it still didnt click if you put your ear up to it you can hear it but cant feel it like the other ones thanks
When I did the same type of test prior to buying my new WDI 175/30's, WDI told me that test is not as accurate as people might think......take it for what it's worth.
I had an intermittent miss associated with a shorted/open coil in my situation, and they all were identical as well.
Make sure your FICM Plugs are fully seated, I'd also make sure your FICM voltages are good. I have a customer who's relatively new #2 injector stopped responding. Each time I ran the injector electrical self test, #2 never reponded, then 3, 4, and 7 followed suit. I slapped a spare FICM on his truck and it fired right up no problem. The long and short of it was that his logic board was toast.
