Have a 1966 C850 with 477 gas engine. The bottom of the steering shaft is loose and found this plastic bushing above the steering ujoint. Looking for a parts diagram or information on what this is bearing/bushing is supposed to be and how to fix it. Thanks in advance for any info.
Not sure if this bushing just needs to be slid back up into position or if there is more to it that is missing.
I want to say you just need to push the bushing back up into the shaft. I have a copy of the parts breakdown but It'll be a day or 3 before I get a chance to look it up for you.
