Key here is learn what would be normal for your use.
Have you seen yours go beyond 500 miles?

yes, well over 1200 miles on occasion.

My 2013 would do the same.

Pic above shows my average distance between at 713 miles.

yesterday right near 1006 miles on odo i noticed dpf filter was at 85%,
steady state of 72 mph on way home, instant mpg had me at over 20 with avg at 18.1

a few minutes later my instant dropped to the point just below 20 and inst avg dropped to 17.2
i checked the dpf filter and it was at 20 % full.
few minutes later it was at zero and inst mpg jumped back up to 18.1
this all happened within 10 to 12 miles .
it was good seeing the reading then the reading to 0 .
yes i need to drive her more, but it is what it is
she did get muddy at the hog lease, had sticky gooey mud up the rims, sloshing away

here is what I use to monitor. Idash. Lower left shows the average between regens and I also have the regen status shown on the idash
WTH. My dealer told me they couldn’t add that to my ‘18 dually. They said Ford stopped doing that around ‘16 or ‘17. I had it on my ‘15.

dealer has to have the will to do it and they did not want to bother.

Mine did since they did not know anything about this.

i used forscan to place the dpf filter percent display on the ip

i am surprised at 75 mph for 70 miles didn't let the system regen through heat alone, vice having to inject fuel. but hey it was very fast compared to the 1st one
