New starter

What have y’all been replacing the original starter with? I see many options.

If you can afford it, a genuine Denso is top of the line. Beware of the Chinese knock-offs though, I believe that Denso's are Japanese.

If there is a starter/alternator shop close by, have yours rebuilt using name brands parts.

There is also a 6.7L starter conversion in the Tech folder that may interest you.

I installed a Denso in 2018 and it is a solid performer that I would reccomend to a friend. It us pricey though. A short video of my Denso starting the truck is below.
