99 Ranger running rough
I have a 4.0 4x4 99 Ranger. 2 or 3 times a month the truck will start fine, but as soon as i turn the lights on the truck will run very rough and stall continuously (a couple of times it did it even the lights wern't turned on). If i turn it off and let it sit for a couple of minutes it will start and run fine. Everything eletrical goes cafluey when it is running rough. This doesn't happen all the time, just once in a while.

Welcome to FTE cookecity,
When does this seem to happen the most; weather conditions anything like that! It does sound like you have an intermittant grounding short in the system!
