I'm the third owner of my OBS. First owner had it for 200k+ miles, and installed a number of towing-centric enhancements at new, including this visor. Lights embedded, but never wired up. Any recommendations as to wire routing? Also, Brett's photo reminds me: anyone else find the clearance lights on the dually fenders distracting when backing up at night? I'm thinking a dimmer switch on those would be a nice-to-have. Leave it on full except when backing up at night and wanting to see more of the dimly lit surroundings.

I have that same issue. Added to the '90s purple window tint, and the old lens covers on the tail lights, sometimes I have to turn off my lights to see enough when backing up.
Not sure who made them originally. Lots of trucks had them so mustvebbeen a common option. I had a metal shop bend me up some new pieces for a part that was missing. It's just 1/8" aluminum diamond tread

I'm very careful about changing the beauty of what we have. I regularly get offers to sell my truck. answer is always same: HELL NO.
