Console Ideas!!
moving ahead with my Mustang bucket seat swap. The seats are getting recovered and while that’s getting done, any ideas for a center console. I, of course have searched for the 65 ranchero console, but that’s impossible, so, and suggestions? Ideas? Pictures?

I am using cardboard and making a template for the tank area and bought some black un backed black carpet, un backed makes it very easy to work with. After I cut the carpet I’ll have it bound on the edges. I really don’t want to add grommets and screw it to the truck, I think that’s original? I was considering heavy duty Velcro? But I’m open to ideas on installing that.

$16 for the setter kit at your local Tandy Leather store, will do chrome plated and brass snaps. I use a dual face hammer, one side is yellow poly, the other is hard rubber., around $15
