Recently the driver's side brake hose blew out on my 1996 f150 but for reasons I had some one else change it out and they put power staring fluid in my brake resvoir I didn't realize it untill to late and drove around a couple few days, untill I started losing power, shuddering hard brakes, and loss of gas now there is no start is my truck done or will it be ok if I change everything with brakes
welcome to FTE.
i agree with Jas. i have run water in the brake system to get the truck home after doing a 2 am emergency line repair on the side of an interstate highway.
once home i did a proper repair and full fluid flush and never had any problems.
you no start issue has nothing to do with the brakes.
