no brakes

i was on y way home from my uncles in berea. and was about to pull onto the ferry and my brakes went out. i killed it and let it roll onto the boat, and drove home about 10 miles without brakes. i noticed when i came down a hill from my uncles the caliper started freezing up, so now i have no brakes. why?

Maybe you should take a look at things? Did you check the master fluid level? Look for leaks?

turns the moisture that brake fluid absorbs (it's HIGHLY hygroscopic) to steam.

basically, you let air in the system from the fluid itself.

that's why we flush our brake fluid overy couple of years

i put new pads on it, my uncle said that if their wore real bad, which they were. that it will put the piston in a bind and wont let it release right, so i put new pads and bled it and it fine now. its not leaking anywhere, it has all new brakes lines all around, one broke on my uncle so he replaced all of them
