Question cold in back not in front

1994 e-150 van converted with lift . can anybody clue me in to why after replacing the compressor and dryer and all the o rings pulling a 20 vacuum charging the system good readings low and high the rear part of the system is cooling like a fridge but the front is staying warm. its not a blower door issue because there is no cold sweat on the lines like there is a blockage but where ? is there a mechanical valve in the system that stops freon from circulating from either part of the system ? it has an orifice tube up front and an expansion valve in back which were both replaced. this is a converted van with a wheelchair lift and near as i can tell the rear heater core has been removed and bypassed but they left the rear ac. functional.

What refrigerant was used to recharge this system? Is this a factory rear A/C & heat system or an aftermarket version? Was the correct orifice tube used up front?

Monitor the pressures while operating the system. I would suspect something amiss with the front evaporator coil.

You might also post this same situation in the sub-forum dedicated to Heating, Cooling and A/C issues like this. Those there will also ask about ambient temperatures and system pressures as well as which refrigerant was used.

Good luck with your project!
