Rear AC isn't cold
We're about 200 miles into an 1100 mile road trip in our van and the rear A/C is blowing warm, already checked the air intake at the back of the van and there's nothing close enough to it to block it, does anyone have a suggestion as to what it can be? Van is an '05 e-350 XLT with the 5.4 gas engine
Edit: the problem is intermittent, if we turn the rear A/C off completely for 5 mins or so it will be cold when we turn it back on for a few minutes

I had the same symptoms on my '05 E350. The vacuum actuator for the rear A/C was broken. I took a piece of wood and wedged the door between the heater core and evaporator. That allowed full cold air always. When winter comes around I'll put it back to heat mode.
