Picked up the truck this morning with a freshly covered steering wheel. The leather texture and color looks a lot like JuanHuevos's. Sorry for the shadow shot. I'll try to get a better one and post it. It looks real nice but time will tell. The material came from the BMW book so I trust it's a better quality that what was there. The color is slightly off but then it's compared to the airbag next to plastic trim, and the seat upholstery. There's three other materials there so naturally it can't be perfect, but it looks really nice. I do appreciate a vendor who stands by his work. For $150, we both took a loss, but it's still done. Unsure if I will buy the new 2002 wheel.
This was your golden opportunity to add a little thicker padding, and the "thumb rests". Thumb rests were on the Lincoln wheels. I love mine for long distance driving especially.
