Brake help

Ok so today I rebuilt my rear brakes and I started on the front couldn’t remove the drums got confused then remembered the hub comes with it but my factory drum is shot it’s work out and has a deep groove in it so I’m wondering do I need to press a new drum on I’ve heard some people say you gotta replace the wheel studs but I’m not sure

You don’t have to replace the wheel studs, but its easier to remove the drum from the hub if you first press out the studs. If you don’t have a press, maybe someone could help you, otherwise you will have to pay a shop to do it for you. You can press out the studs without damaging them if you’re careful, but sometimes its easier just to toss them and install new ones...check on rockauto.

I separated mine with a BFH, but now I have a press. The studs were trashed in the process, and I had trouble finding the right size to replace them. For me, Dorman 610-034 was just right. The others listed at the parts stores were both wrong for my hubs (one too thin, one too long). Here's a post that may help:
