Brake pads suggestions

Hi everyone,
I have a 2018 F150 Power Stroke I am now at 81000 miles and I need to do the pads all the way around, for those that have done this what pads did you use? and are you happy with them? I find the factory not bad but need more grip but they are great for not producing brake dust which I love, getting older and harder to get down to clean the rims.

Any recommendations?

Blayton, I have no info for you on the brakes, but just wanted to tell you your 69 F100 avatar pic is great. Great looking truck.

My fronts were done around 60K I do believe. The rears are still OEM with 104K+ miles. The fronts were replaced with OEM and I have no complaints. I've had to shut this thing down from 85mph to 0 a couple of times and it did it without a hitch.

Use the Motorcraft BRSD prefix pads. This will get you what you are looking for and they also provide good rotor life. These have been standard fleet pads for a long time and is what is used on the F150 SSV trucks.

I think you’d be happy with the blue HD Motorcraft pads.

I recently changed my brakes all the way around and I used the Raybestos Element 3 pads and I’ve been very happy.

Another popular brake pad are the Akebono.

Correct the blue HD pads are the BRSD prefix pads.

Another vote for these.

Also, we need to hear more about your F150 Powerstroke. Not many around

Motorcraft or Wagner OEX.
The Wagners are very grippy and just about dustless.

I agree with Gashog. I’ve used the HD Motorcraft on my last three trucks and have been very pleased with the performance.

Is the BRSD pad only for the rear? I can't seem to find a part number for the front HD blue pads for my 2020 F-150. Any suggestions?

I recently swapped to PowerStop pads and rotors all around and have been very happy. I haven't seen them mentioned yet, do they make them for the newest trucks too?
