I have a 2016 xlt(302a I think) with power adjust, heated, and blinker mirrors mirrors. I want to add puddle lights and maybe power folding mirrors. Anybody have a definite explanation of what it takes to do either of those tasks? If the power folding is too much to bite off, I’d rather settle with just the puddle lights. Just trying to get an idea of what it’d take. I have Forscan and can do whatever programming I need myself. Anybody ever added puddle lights? Would like to keep everything as OEM as possible. Thanks!

wouldn’t like to spend a whole awful lot. That’s why I’m trying to figure out what all is involved for either job. That was I can decide whether or not it’s worth it to me to do it.

A “used” pair of OEM “folding mirrors”, which already have the puddle lights in them, will set you back a minimum of $1500.00 not to mention the different harness that will be required, a different interior switch panel, as well as FORScan programming.
Tried this once but too many issues and parts to be worth the effort. Probably cheaper to just jack up the keys and slip a new F150 underneath. Put the money into savings for your next one maybe?
