I have a 2000 f250 zf6. I am getting a weird clunk or jerk that you can fell under heavy throttle taking off from a stop. If I accelerate under real light throttle I do not fell it. Anything over say 50% throttle seems to do it. I have replaced the whole drive line with spider joints and it still does it. It’s nothing audible, I can just fell it threw the seat. Any ideas where to look next?
did you grease the splines on the slip section of the drive shaft?
i used to have a definite thud on take-off pulled apart drive shaft put some good grease into the female section reassembled thud gone.

I'll third the splines on the slip joint, very common on our trucks. The original splines were teflon coated which by now has worn off. Ford sells a special teflon grease to put in there. Some of us (me) have added a grease zerk so it can be greased without disassembly.
Note in the pics I ground an opening all the way around the splines to let the grease find it's way around. The groove does not go all the way to the shaft so as not to weaken it.
I was lucky, there was still existing grease I could smoosh back into places of contact. IIRC most of it was on the male side. But much better to be armed with the right lube and do it right.
