Electric seat problem

the seats in my 90 E150. Stopped working. They were working and my son was rocking the drivers seat side to side trying to help me find where the seat was loose at when the Electric went out.
I have removed the seats, I have power at all connections. Lowest voltage so far is 12.15v.
I have run continuity on the switches which test good. Power is getting to all motors. So it leads me to believe its a ground problem, but I cannot find it. Do these seats have or are the suppose to have ground straps ? I'm kinda lost at this point, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

So the only ground to the system is the common ground to the switches, so when the weather is better I will trace the ground from the switches to wherever it grounds to.

Factory grounds are funky at the very least. They rely on copper wire to provide ground (Negative) to sheet metal body parts. I was working on my '98 and stablished a direct to battery ground system and eventually I'll tie all of my grounds to it. On my power seat the ground wire is near the floor right in front of the seat pedestal. I rece3ntly used this ground for my accessory switch panel I installed on my center console.

Thank you turbogus, I have removed both seats to get the doghouse out, I will pull the carpet back a little and see if there is a ground there, but it looks like the PO, did some pretty shade tree stuff on the electrical. I've found 3 hotvwire run to the battery terminal so far and I've found at least 6 quick tap Tees in the wiring harness near the fuse block...it's all gonna have to be traced out and redone.
