F-150 Supercab Seats...numb legs

A good friend of mine has recently purchased the F-150 supercab. He loves the truck but the angle of the seats (bucket seats) has his knees higher than his hips and as a result his legs, back, etc. are going numb. He's had someone local fabricate some shims for the seat to change the angle but it's still no help.

Does anyone know of aftermarket seats or mods that can improve the seat angle? Any recommendations for someone to use in the Massachusettes area?

If this topic has already been beaten to death, I apologize but I created a new membership just to post this question. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

yo holmes!
Are these power seats?
I f so, and I could be wrong, the power adjuster should provide for forward/aft tilt of the seat bottoms.
If they are NOT power seats, then disregard

I've had the same complaint about the seats making my right leg numb after my first drive home. I told the Ford rep about the problem but they don’t care. The front seat is lower to the floorboard than my old 95 Dodge. I have manual seats but even the bottom of a power seat will not tilt. If you modify the seat brackets it could weaken the seat and rip loose from the floorboard during an accident. The seatbelt attaches to the top of the seat not the door pillar.

Yeah, I posted a thread about this a while ago. Its why I don't own one of these trucks. The seat is very flat and has no support. Even the power seat isn't adjustable properly to provide support and eliminate the numbness. I'm glad i'm not the only one! I would suggest an upholstery shop to beef up the bolsters.

That's strange. I have the power driver's seat and it tilts forward. It's very comfortable.

If you guys are talking about the Captains chairs, I don't have that style on my XLT supercab.

I have kind of noticed that after a 6-hour road trip.
In most cars, I have my seat all the way back because I'm over 6 feet tall. Well, I figured out that's not really necessary in this truck and after moving my seat forward a couple of inches, I didn't notice the problem.
