2019 f150 xlt
I can send messages no problem but can not receive them. Bluetooth audio works fine just the receiving message issue. Phone is Android note 10

 

Don't know what to tell you. I have an older Android Galaxy S6 and drive a 2020 F150 XLT. The phone paired with the Sync3 just fine but the second time I used it and turned off BT the 8" display screen froze up...wouldn't let me do anything. After about an hour with the truck not running it finally reset itself. I haven't tried to use BT since.

 

I've had a little weridness with Android Auto, but not that problem. Is there a "do not disturb" setting or something turned on? Are you sending them with voice command through android auto, or a different way?

 

Yeah, very weird. Worked fine for the first year or so. I can send text via voice command. Sync 3 just won.t recognize incoming texts.

 

Sounds like an Android OS problem.

Have you checked for updates?

 

I did an update just a few days ago.

 

I have had 3 Motorla Droids, Haven't had any problems other than it has trouble turning Texan into text.

 

There was something on the net about some recent Android updates that broke some things. It might self-correct in a week or so. Personally, I haven't seen any issues, but I'm still on Sync 2.
