Question 2007 F150 TSB? Help!!

I just purchased my 2007 F150 4X4 XLT about 2 weeks ago and have felt a slight bump upon acceleration. I just check the TSB's for this model and see there is a problem. Am I correct in assuming that the dealer knew of this problem when the truck was sold to me but did nothing to fix the problem before I left with my new truck? Should I bring this truck to the service department for a fix? And if so, is it a quick fix? How serious is this problem????

No, A TSB is a known problem with some vehicles, it by no means indicates a problem with every vehicle. Take it back to the dealer with the TSB.

Is there a saftety recall on it? If the dealer doesnt have a directive to repair vehicles before sale for a safety issue then you can assume they had no prior knowledge that your vehicle has some thump issue. There is a TSB for a shudder or vibration on moderate accelleration but that is repaired as most all repairs are done on a case by case complaint basis from the customer. Unless it is an obvious problem detected in the few miles that the technician does the pre-delivery inspection the customer is usually the first to detect an issue of that nature.
