Sweet Wife has been very good about letting me have my truck my way. She thinks carpet delete is a pretty good idea since we will keep it probably 20 years as we are retiring. She did talk me into getting the tailgate with the step. Probably a good idea.
On the surface, the tailgate step seems dumb and probably is for many people. In my case, sometimes I have to go up and down over and over to get stuff from the toolbox and in those times the step makes sense.
When I ordered OEM mats for vinyl floors, they INCLUDE the posts hardware. SO even though mine was already installed as scraprats pic shows, the kit includes posts. The front circle is a magnet which mates with a magnet in the OEM floor Mat.
Yes, I saw that post hardware kit here but my Ford parts guy says they're only available as part of the mat kit. Since I already sprung for Husky Xact mats, I'd rather not buy all new OEM mats just to get the posts.
I do not have the posts either, and used the 3M adhesive posts that came with my weathertech mats. They have a tendency of moving when the interior gets hot, so i would love to have the OEM post so my mat does not move!
The carpet delete is worth it I dont care what trim level. My STX has vinyl and my Lariat of course is carpet which is my wife’s truck even she says she would get the carpet delete next time.
I ordered a 2021 f350 6.7lariat CCLB 4wd 2 months ago and picked it up a week ago.
I chose the carpet delete it looks nice and is easy to clean out the dirt with a small brush.
The driver and pass sides have two floor mat pins to hold floor mats.
Does anyone have a part number for the rubber flooring?
My 21 XL came with cloth and carpet, but I wanted vinyl and rubber flooring. I was hoping I could just do the swap, the carpet is going to get wrecked with kids.

Welcome to the forum.
Why not just go with something like the WeatherTech floor mats, instead of swapping out the carpeting for rubber?

Thanks for the welcome!
This is a long story so bear with me. My local dealer had found the truck I wanted. Base model XL with a 6.7, 4 door, short bed 4x4 except it had cloth seats. I went in to do the paper work and the dealer would not transfer the truck until i had put down a payment becuase "no one buys base trucks". Ok I do the deed and the transferring dealer tells my guy they traded the truck out that morning. My salesman finds another truck that's identical, but with carpet and I told him I didn't want it. So they threw in WeatherTechs for free and I obliged on the truck.
A few things, one was I regret setting and should have just pressed for what I wanted. Second, they ordered the front set as two matts vs one to to cover the center carpet under the jumper seat. My son already likes to ride there when we are cruising the ranch, and off course that's when he tracks the most dirt.
Sorry for the long post, but I have the weather tech and I don't think they will be enough. Five year olds are good at breaking everything.
