Carpet delete option
Did anybody order the carpet delete option ? And what do you think of it ? Did it still come with the snap hooks to install aftermarket floor mats ? Order the 2021 with carpet delete option and the wife is not very happy lol

My 2021 XL delivered last week does not have the molded in retention posts. Some with carpet delete have had them in the past but there is not a pattern that I can discern. The dealership truck sales manager and the parts guy were both surprised to see that there were no posts on my truck.
Huskyliners sent me adhesive velcro patches but I am looking for a better solution.

I'm pretty sure XL do3s not come with posts, but any of the higher trims that typically come with carpet, have the posts when you select carpet delete.
With that said, I love my vinyl floor. So easy to keep clean. Carpet may offer a bit better sound deadening.

Here is my 2021 XL that arrived weeks ago.
The carpet delete includes the driver’s side and, passenger's side posts, but none in rear.
This is a great selection.

I have a F-150 XL with carpet delete and I like it so well that the 2021 Lariat I have on order (in shipment now) I ordered with carpet delete.

I tried to order it, and was told the truck may or may not be built. It was a function of whether or not ford was going to do another run of lariat level trucks with this option, so I cancelled. Doesn’t answer your question, but you may want to look into it if you don’t want to wait for a 22.

Sweet Wife has been very good about letting me have my truck my way. She thinks carpet delete is a pretty good idea since we will keep it probably 20 years as we are retiring. She did talk me into getting the tailgate with the step. Probably a good idea.
