Mirror replacement
Hi, I smacked my pass. side mirror today and have to replace it. I have a e1999 F250 crew cab, and want to keep existing mirror style (power,,single swing, non heated, no turn signal) I priced aftermarket from Rock Auto, O;Reilly's,Advance etc. and found genuine Ford @ a place called VillageFord on the web. My question is , has anybody done business with them? The price for brand new Ford was as cheap or cheaper than the China knock offs. even with shipping. Thanks,

Many on FTE have dealt with White Bear Lake Ford. They are good company. Usually have good prices.

Can't seem to find original equip. style that will match the type that I have. (still have orig. drivers side). The new Ford ones are power, telescoping, and are dual swing.#3c3z17682daa, as are the Chinese knock offs. The ones that came on mine are power adjustment, non telescoping, single swing (fold into the truck). Although both Ford and aftermarket are very reasonably priced, I really don"t want to buy a pair. So I guess I"ll have to check out the bone yards.

Try Lakeland Ford's (Florida) parts website. Use your VIN to get a more accurate match. They have great prices and good availability. I've gotten quite a bit of OEM parts for my 2002 F 250 CC XLT
