So 8 plugs for $10.96 lol
Made in Ireland on package and Germany on plug?

Air bleed punch circle on package??

(4) in a package???

Its so hard to tell. Our best bet is to use trusted sources.

Looks like they have all the makings of being genuine except for the Ireland/Germany thing and the pressure release punch in the bag.

Came in pairs, crimped properly, magnetic, etc... All good aspects of authenticity.

Eric, is that vendor you listed and bought the GP's through Amazon LLC? I ask because Amazon themselves can be a seller as well as 3rd party vendors using the Amazon site, but it is said that Amazon LLC will typically have genuine parts.

Typically being the key word here...

The seller was a vender through Amazon. They are supposed to be all oem parts, I am thinking that since they are registered as a business account pricing seller for amazon, that they should be fairly reliable.

Smokin deal. Wonder how they screwed that up sending out 8 with order of 1???? I received and installed the glow plugs I ordered from Bitterroot. I was happy to see that what I pulled out was oem as well.

Well they usually sell them as 1x of 8 quantity, probably just saw order for 1 and figured it was that. Oh well.

The "Made in Ireland" on the bag and the words "BERU Germany" on the glow plug body itself is not a thing to be concerned about.

The same was true when Motorcraft was packaging the plugs individually.

The same was true with the Motorcraft plugs I purchased, and photographed side by side with the original production plugs.

I agree with all of that...

My main points of inspection would be the crimp style and the magnet test.

To piggyback on what SSJ and others have shown us, FTE'r @deanramey took some time to document his recent experience with counterfeit Motorcraft parts.

Brother SSJ thanks again for bringing the Fake GP info to us!!

As you know my truck is dead to me if the temp is below 40 unless I plug it in.

Well today I just stopped in at the Irish parts store for poops and giggles. They had Motorcraft brand GPs. Young man at the counter looked at me funny as I fondled the package. Then I ask my 12 yr son if the bag had air release holes and small squares at the top of the GP. My **** is blind without me readers ya nose.

Anyway they are authentic. So went ahead and grabbed 8. Now for some warmer weather to swap them out.
I also asked the counter guy if they had any of those Point Break posters with the bearded wonder guy. He just stared at me like I was crazy.

Ordered a Motorcraft starter relay from O'Reilly's and received this in a Motorcraft box. Ametek was sanded off and a laser was used to remark this part. Hopefully Ametek is the OEM...
