Good afternoon FTE users
My ficm mounting isn't the best, i'm missing stuff but first, what i have:
2 stainless bolts for the rear
2 stainless nuts fo the front
that plate that goes at the back with the bolts, not oem, just done by my mechanic, will just trim and paint it
but i'm missing the one that goes at the top front of the ficm to the turbo intake tube
I'm happy with this brackets and stainless bolts
that missing top bracket makes that tube allignment so tough and removing air box is so tough in the easiest method that is just unclip it from the bottom, loosen the clamp, romove front hose that goes into the rad support and compress the wrinked hose and that's all but it's tougher with the bad possitioned tube
Someone knows the part number or sells it
Much appreciated
fIcmrepair.com should have everything you need. In my opinion you should stick with the original mounting hardware. It is designed to keep it in place as well as keep the ficm from vibrating as much with the rubber bushings.
Thanks but those brackets are fine in my truck, I'm missing the bracket that goes from the top front of ficm to the turbo inlet tube... thinking about fabricating it... FICMREPAIR.COM doesn't have that bracket
This is the bracket I mean:
