Keyless entry swap?
I have a 2005 F150 Lariat which has the keyless entry option, is it possible to swap this onto my 2011 F150 XLT which has power locks? I would just like the keyless entry option.

I haven't done this but have researched for the same you are considering. There are wireless keypad options, the link below shows one .

To use the oem keypad on 2011-2014 you have to replace the outside door latch assembly that includes it then use forscan to activate it. Or you can buy the Ford accessory keypad as linked above by 2j which would be much easier. Unsure if it's cheaper but it's a stick on. I put one on my wife's 14 Escape.

OP states his 2011 is XLT trim, so I would bet he has fobs.
