Poll: Catch can, yes or no

I have a 2011 F150 EcoBoost and read a lot about oil catch cans, I for one will not install one, to me it's just a gimmick. Just curious to know how many EcoBoost owners have a catch can installed and how many haven't. On a side note, I also have a 2005 F150 with the infamous 5.4 engine, all original, never any work done (i.e. lifters, cams) on the engine except for oil, filters and plugs, I'm at 204k miles now. Yes, it's loud at a cold start but always quiet down when warm.

Catch can installed:
Yes
No

I empty my gimmick every 1000 miles or so and it's nasty. I like knowing it's not running back in through the intake and gumming up everything in there and the top of the intake valves. The concept has been around for many years in the hotrod world because it helps with octane loss. I don't think it's something you install, jump in and feel a big difference, I think it's a long haul piece of mind thing. Sorda like changing your oil at 4000 miles instead of the 7500 mile interval that's suggested. Just my 2 cents
