What happened to the cooking channel for February waiting for more delicious recipes, might need to add to use mitts when pull molting hot Cheese from the Baker , sliced garlic cheese bread cooks great in a air frier and Mom made everything from Bisquik , especially biscuits n gravy
We fixed this for supper tonight, but I substituted fresh minced ginger and garlic for the dried. It makes a delicious and filling soup. That I am looking forward to having for lunch again tomorrow.
Egg Roll Soup
From the Kitchen of Ruby Rawhide (Su Silva) Egg Roll soup - tastes just like a spring roll without the fried shell. Keto friendly.
1lb. ground sausage, not links
1 med. onion diced up
a couple of good sized carrots cut small
about 1/2 a large head of cabbage sliced thin, or a bag of
already sliced coleslaw mix
2 Tlb soy sauce
1 -2 Tlb sesame oil
! tsp granulated garlic
1 & 1/2 tsp ginger
5 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste Brown the sausage and add the onion and carrots. Stir that around until they're limp. Then dump in everything else and simmer it for about 10 or 15 minutes. Delish!
I cannot imagine 25 people in a Ford Expedition unless they were all skinny kids. However, the story states the youngest was 16. So maybe all the adults were skinny? And must have been sitting on each other's laps. Interesting how the initial story stated 27 in the SUV, 15 dead and the truck they hit was carrying gravel. Now they state 25 people in the SUV 13 dead and the truck was empty.

If you take all the seats out of an Expedition, you may be able to pack people like sardines. It's not as if these smugglers care about the comfort and safety of the passengers.
Modoc, that soup looks purdy good , seeing I’ve been on a egg roll kick lately,
just wanted to remind everybody to please be safe out on the roadways , stay off the phone , less attractions floating around in the vehicle, and watch the other guy ,

Just looking at the "priority" list for Covid vaccines. We all have our own opinions in regards to getting the vaccine. All compelling arguments. Just a matter of what you choose to believe. Hoping that your turn is coming up soon, if you want the vaccine.
pushing the envelope with my HOA by having 4 vehicles... 😂
I know a guy whose HOA didn't like "the look" of his car. Apparently they can decide, at any given time, that your car doesn't look good, or fit the image that they want. Lower it. Lift it. Shiny wheels. Tinted windows. Custom paint. Stereo. Fuzzy dice. Racing stickers. When he asked what was it, in particular, about the way his car looked......the lady said, "it's too loud". I guess where he lives, everyone must drive a Prius, Tesla, or Dodge Caravan.
I'll never live in an HOA, even if I won the lottery and could actually afford a house. Too many rules by too many dictators for me. I remember decades ago, working security for one, and one of the residents painted his house a different shade of tan that was not on the list of 15 "allowed" colors. He was politely told to repaint it or face fines. He repainted it.
I've been lucky to have lived in two fairly chill HOA communities. My first condo in Fremont - only thing they complained about was a satellite dish that was attached to our chimney by the previous owners and since I didn't use it, I had one of my slimmer-looking buds climb up and take that thing right off.
This community I am at right now - they haven't said a peep ::knock on wood:: about anything in the past 6.5 years I've been here. We've had cars in worse condition and a lot louder than my truck and not a squeak. I honestly don't expect them to say anything either - but I am not going to push my luck
