I have a 2016 6.7L (DEF). I approached my go to Ford diesel mech about a delete. I won't list all the items he mentioned to do it but it was a lot longer then the delete he did on my 2004 6.0L (non-DEF). He charged me a grand for the 6.0L delete but that included an oil cooler and radiator +.. For the 2016 6.7L he quoted $2700, ouch! What are your experiences with the cost of a 6.7L EGR delete?
You can’t really price shop that kind of work anymore as very few people are doing it anymore. The EPA is cracking down HARD on emissions tampering of diesel trucks. All major companies have stopped making the parts and the tuning and very few shops will do it.

Thanks but I did not ask that. I asked for experience about cost from members.

If my rememberer is working as good as my forgetter, it seems like I have read it is around $2000 for a DIY job for a modern (DEF) diesel for all things needed. So for a shop to do it for $2700 wouldn’t be bad.

Why do you need to delete your truck? So you can roll coal? You can bet if you roll coal or or seen bellow black smoke, you will soon be turned into your local EPA whether state or federal office.
It is not proven you get better fuel mileage or increase the durability of the engine. Even if you got 1 mpg or 2 mpg better mileage, how many tanks/years will it take to recover the cost.
Unless you keep all your removed emission equipment to return it to stock, you maybe have trouble trading it on a different vehicle as there are Fed laws against dealers re-selling deleted vehicles.

I do not need to do to anything. I asked a question which you have not addressed but thank you for the info about MPG. Your post makes assumptions which are not relevant to my question.. "roll coal"? I suppose I am not one of the "cool kids" as I have no idea what you are talking about. Have you done/paid for a 6.7L EGR delete?. That's the ticket.
Why are you even asking this question in this forum? Have you asked yourself that? your attitude will get a lot more responses in the right forum with more sweetness than your **** and vinegar...
So do your searches on the whole forum list and maybe you can find the answer you seek...ever thought about that?

Just leave it alone "stokin". I don't believe you have anything to add which helps.
