i finally ordered a EGR delet kit for my truck. It just recently spent a week in the shop getting the good ole head gaskets, egr valve and cooler replaced. So i've done some research on it and gave the guys over at River City Diesel a call. Talked to the mechanics for a little over a hour. These people were friendly and explained things to me and answered all my questions. After lookng at several delete kit options available I've decided to go with the one they sell. I like the design alot better. I'll be doing the work myself once it arrives. I am also getting the 4 inch magnaflow turbo back exhaust. Not sure which new mod im more excited about getting. They assured me the EGR delet is the way to go so i wont have to worry about a clogged egr cooler anymore.
River City Diesel's EGR delete kit looked to be a more solid build on that little tube part..and the mechanics (I said mechanics) took the time to talk to me for an hour and answer all of my questions and explain things clearly..so i had more confidence ordering from them.
Looks like a very nice kit. If you paid that much for it you might have wanted to look @ First Coast Diesel Performance's kit......80.00 more but you get a near new hot tanked "modified" intake manifod with EGR valve welded or left open (i left mine open), coolant reroute pipe and new modified up-pipe.
I dont think I like the big brass compression fitting your kit came with. Anyway good Luck with your install.
