Does anybody have experience with this weather tech tech liner bed liner? https://www.weathertech.com/ford/202...ize/6-3-4-box/
specifically, how does it fit, do items stay put or slide around, and is it at all softer than just the bare metal with linex?
I like how the sides come up and sort of seal the gaps, potentially reducing dust in the bed.
If that's a drop-in plastic, items will slide around like on glass......my last one did.
I have a low tolerance for my tools, saws or whatever, beating around on back of truck so opted for the factory rubber mat, very nice.
For cosmetic purposes, the drop-in looks nice.
I put one in my 20 F-450 long bed about 4 months ago. The install was easy, just clean the bed good, lay out the trailer hitch openings and test fit. Once you are sure of the fit, use the alcohol pads and clean the bed area and bed liner surface and apply, press down and let it lay for a day. Re-install the plastic bed trim around the hitch openings. The tailgate was supper easy, just remove a few screws, install the clip, and re-attach the screws. Really it was easy, I just needed help getting the bed liner in and out while test fitting it.
